About Rick Nederlof
I was born on the island of Java in Indonesia and moved to Holland when I was eleven. My parents were of Dutch-Indonesian heritage. Art in general, drawing and painting have always been there from the very beginning, since we had three generations of painters in our family. Rick, I too love your Geisha. Absolutely gorgeous. I like your other entries but have not taken time to comment on each one. Love your style! Thanks immensely for your comment about my photograph of our dog, "Happy". She is around 9 now and healthy. (But) I dread the day that she will depart from us. I just lost my precious 13 year old cat, "Bob" and feel like a person is missing around here. He was healthy as could be one day, then I found him limp outside the next day. Will not go into further details on his demise. I just simply miss him SO MUCH. Shine on, Anne in Virginia
